The soon-to-be husband and wife to be met on a hot summer evening in 2004. Harry walked into Scoones at the Princess Royal in Ocean City, Maryland to meet with his band mate, Tommy Edward (Sir Rod). That is when he first saw Melissa singing with Tommy at the bar. It was magic, but he didn’t see her again until the end of 2005, when she joined the Sir Rod Tribute Band. (Unbeknownst to Melissa, Harry was already talking her up to his friends and taking a huge interest in wanted to get to know her!)
Sir Rod is where their real relationship began. Harry was the drummer, and they quickly became friends. Well, as they say, from friendship bloomed romance. And soon these two were inseparable. Still, it wasn’t until 2006 they made their relationship official. At the time, Melissa lived in OC, MD, while Harry remained in Lancaster, PA. But distance could not keep these two apart; they made it a point to see each other every weekend! In an effort to be closer, she moved to Newark, De, for a year before moving in with Harry and his four children.
The proposal: On July 18th, days before Melissa’s birthday, the band traveled to BJ’s in Ocean City. Harry planned a surprise birthday party for Melissa, but that was not the biggest surprise to come that night. Grabbing the mic, Harry professed his love for Melissa before the entire restaurant, dropped to one knee, and asked her to be his wife. Now, with less than a year to go, the wedding countdown continues.
Melissa is a creative twenty-seven year old. Born on July 21st in Columbia, Maryland, Melissa is a cancer and true to her sign, she is sensitive, kind, and harmonious. Prior to residing in Pennsylvania, she lived in several other states including Texas, Florida, and Georgia.
Melissa is an orthodontic and radiation technician as well as a talented musician. Her beautiful daughter, Alexus, is the start of what she hopes to be a very large family. That stated, Melissa is overjoyed to embrace Harry’s four smart and beautiful children. In her quiet moments, Melissa enjoys dabbling in art; she loves a good novel, and lives for the weekends when she can sing with her bands. Harry will be lucky to have a wife like her!
Harry is a unique thirty-two year old. A Lancaster native, this Aries lives up to the characteristics of his sign; he is romantic, courageous, and spontaneous. He is a full-time musician as well as a self-employed courier.
Harry is a loving father of four: Derek, Jay Lynn, Nolan, and April. With a bride-to-be and her daughter in tow, this family is about to blossom! That’s a house-full! In his free time, Harry enjoys playing drums and poker and watching boxing and football. Movies are his thing, too. He lives for family time and could quite possibly be the biggest Genesis and Phil Collins fan on the face of the earth. Melissa will be lucky to have a husband like him!
